Road to Miss World 2011
Danielle Crosskill, representing Ocean Spray, was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2011 on September 10, 2011 at the Grand Coronation held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston. Danielle is 25 year old and stands 1.69 m. She will represent Jamaica in Miss World 2011 Pageant. Kayla Mendes was the first runner-up and Chantel Davis was the second runner-up.
Danielle is now the General Manager at Carichem Products Ltd and part time school teacher. Her life’s ambition is to be happy and successful in all her endeavors, in both her personal and professional life. A speaker of Spanish, she also enjoys painting, reading, going to the gym, Tennis & Jogging. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in International Relations from UWI. Presently, she volunteers at the Glenhope Place of Safety where she reads, and teaches orphans to help enhance the children’s social skills. She is also painting for her first art exhibition. Nelson Mandela is the man that she’d most like to meet because of the strength of character and humility that he has always displayed.
